SHIPPING & RETURNS
Most of our orders are dispatched via Australia Post satchels or Fastway Couriers for larger items. We will normally dispatch your order within 1 – 3 business days (international orders may take a little longer), however we will endeavour to notify you if there will be any delay is dispatch.
We send nationally and internationally, however international customers will need to contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a quote for postage or shipping.
You will be able to pick up your order in store, however, you will need to communicate with us to arrange the pickup, or the order will be automatically dispatched.
All items are normally held in stock. However we may sometimes run out due to sudden demand, in which case we will notify you and inform you the date we expect to receive more stock.
Quilting Frames and Accessories – Cost of freighting these larger items is approx. $150 – $300, depending on your location. (most around $200). Please note, these items cannot be sent to a PO Box, please use your residential or business address and include a note as to where the goods can be left if you happen to be out when the goods are delivered. If no note included, the courier will be advised to “Leave in a safe place if out”. There will be no redeliveries from the Courier Company.
Accessories, Yarn & Apparel – These will generally be sent in Australia Post Express Satchels. The amount will be calculated at checkout. We will combine as many items as possible in a satchel. This will be calculated on the actual size and weight of the items ordered.
All items are carefully inspected for defects prior to being dispatched. Faulty items can be returned for exchange or repair. These items must be returned in original packaging and must be received within 14 days of original dispatch from John Watts Sewing Machines. Return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser. Sale items are non-returnable.
